Das Leid in Gaza durch den Gaza-Israel-Krieg ist x-fach größer als das in Israel: viel mehr Tote, Verletzte, Zerstörung.

Die Möglichkeit, das Leid auf beiden Seiten zu mildern/stoppen, also Verantwortung für dieses, liegt x-fach mehr bei der Regierung Gazas (=Hamas) als der Regierung Israels.

Für mich implizieren argumentative Vergleiche der Opferzahlen zwischen Israel und Gaza eine Anerkennung der Hamas als Israel gleich im Interesse, Menschenleben zu schützen. Als profitiere Hamas nicht von hohen Zivil-Opferzahlen (und befördere sie daher), Israel das Gegenteil. Also: Hamas-Legitimation/Verharmlosung.
(Gängige Verteidigung des Opferzahlen-Vergleichs: Rassistisch beweint ihr israelische und palästinensische Opfer ungleich, das eine Leben ist euch mehr wert als das andere. Die Schwere der Leiden auf beiden Seiten ist aber eine andere Frage als die Verteilung der Verantwortlichkeit zwischen ihnen.)

Die letzten Tage das Wort "decolonialism" so oft als Phrase ekelhaftester Greuelrechtfertigungen, und "colonizer" als Terminus der Entmenschlichung jener, die das Verbrechen begehen, ins falsche Land geboren zu sein – diese Wörter sind für mich bis auf Weiteres erstmal verbrannt.
Immer wenn ich hier etwas mehr rüberschau stolpere ich sofort wieder über ein paar "wir sind hier soviel besser als die Mainstreamer da draußen", es riecht ein bisschen kultisch.
